Adam’s Fall: A Far Eastern Psychological Perspective
This text proposes a dialogue between theology and science, advocating for mutual understanding. It suggests reinterpreting Hebrew words in the Adam narrative and incorporating insights from Eastern psychology to sync the Biblical narrative with science. Rather than viewing Adam’s creation from “dust” as a physical event, it suggests that God implanted negative qualities to initiate humanity’s spiritual journey. It also reconsiders the prohibition of the Tree of Knowledge and the role of the serpent, aligning biblical narrative with science and positive symbolism. These interpretations reinforce the majesty of Jesus Christ in helping establish a conscious connection between man and God.
